Zeitgeist is a german word meaning ‘the spirit of the times’ or ‘the spirit of the age.’
Zeitgeist is the general cultural, intellectual, ethical, spiritual, and/or political climate within a nation or even specific groups, along with the general ambience, morals, and sociocultural direction or mood of an era (similar to the English word mainstream or trend).
ZeitgeistPalmy.org is a website that has been set up by a local group of determined people to promote The Zeitgeist Movement and The Venus Project in Palmerston North and the wider Manawatu region.
We advocate moving towards a sustainable global social system.
No human being can understand everything completely. We are not here to tell you what to believe. It may appear challenging to replace a system of distorted values which is currently running our lives but change is inevitable so we must start somewhere.
Any single person can do their part in shaping this vision. Education is the most important step and The Zeitgeist Movement will provide you with materials to help you along.
